Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is expected to stick to his young players when his side take on Plymouth in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
Arsenal was comfortably beaten by Burnley in the quarter finals of
the League Cup with the youngsters failing to reproduce the form that
saw them secure convincing victories over Sheffield United and Wigan
Athletic. However Wenger will be confident of progressing to the next
round with Arsenal not having lost a third round game since 1996.
Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock revealed that pressure is on Arsenal
and hopes that his side will be able to put together a good fight that
will see them snap out of a poor run of form. Plymouth have lost five
of their last seven matches and have not scored a goal in their last
four away games.
Venue: Emirates Stadium
Date: Saturday, 3 January
