Fulham face an easy first test on Saturday when they visit Championship side Sheffield Wednesday for a FA Cup third round clash.
The Cottagers are currently in excellent form, not losing in their
last nine matches and have lost just once in their last 13 games, a 1-0
defeat to Everton back on November 1. A victory for Fulham will see the
club qualify for the fourth round for only the second time in last four
seasons and manager Roy Hodgson will be hoping that his side will
manage to put up a strong run in the tournament.
On the other hand, Sheffield Wednesday have failed to reach the
fourth round of the competition in last seven seasons. The Owls have
failed to beat a Premier League side in the last 16 seasons and with
Sheffield struggling for form, manager Brian Laws will be content if
his side put up a good fight against Fulham on Saturday.
