Celtic will be looking to secure a comfortable victory against Division Two side Queen’s Park when the two teams meet in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup on Saturday.
Celtic secured a hard fought 2-1 win over Dundee United in the fourth round of the competition with Scott Brown and Aiden McGeady scoring for the Bhoys after Colin McMenamin had given Dundee an early lead in the 14th minute.
They take on a Queen’s Park side that is struggling in the Division Two with the club just two points above the Second Division Play-offs spot. Queen’s Park go into the match against Celtic following their good performance during the 1-0 win over Peterhead in the fourth round replay with Ryan Holms scoring the winner six minutes into the second half.
Shunsuke Nakamura will be unavailable for selection with Celtic giving the midfielder a leave of absence that will allow him to link up with his international teammates and gain some rest before the Old Firm derby against Rangers later this month.
