Hull City take on Sheffield United in their FA Cup fifth round tie on Saturday with the Tigers keen to improve their poor record against the Championship club.
Hull’s last win over Sheffield United came way back in the 1983-84 season and the Tigers have since then lost seven and drew six of the 13 meetings between the two sides. With his side placed comfortably in league table, manager Phil Brown will be keeping Hull’s best performance of reaching the semi finals of the tournament and hope to at least make it to the sixth round of the competition.
New signing Jimmy Bullard is still out of action with a knee injury while Daniel Cousin will be unavailable for at least two weeks with a knee injury. Darius Henderson has been suspended for Sheffield United while Jamie Ward, Leigh Bromby and Arturo Lupoli are cup-tied.
