India last toured New Zealand 7 years back and it was disastrous for the Indian batsman except Sehwag. And lot has changed after that, lot's of new players and a new captain and not to mention new costume.
Kiwis did a decent job recently but they don't have as good track record as India in recent times and they lost last 3 ODI's and a T20 against Australia.
This tour will be real test for Dhoni and team India who hasn't played much outside subcontinent in recent times.
