Hull City travel to Everton for their next game searching for only their second win in last 11 Premier League games as they look to get back on track during the New Year.
Everton though are unbeaten at home in the last five games in all
contests and will look to extend that run. Manager David Moyes looks
set to name Tim Cahill as the lone striker as Louis Saha is still out,
while Victor Anichebe is back in training, but is doubtful for this
game.
The Toffees beat Middlesbrough 1-0 and Sunderland 3-0 to end last
year on a high and manager Moyes will hope his side can end up in the
top five.
Hull City have had a miserable time of late and manager Phil Brown
will hope the New Year changes their form and fortune. The club lost
5-1 to Man City and 1-0 to Aston Villa to end the year on a dismal
note.
However they continue to occupy a spot in the top half of the table
thanks to a great start, which may ultimately save them from relegation.
