Bottom huggers West Brom have revived their season with some fine wins in recent games. Last week the Baggies overcame Middlesbrough 3-0 in an impressive manner with Robert Koren scoring a brace and Chris Brunt scoring another goal. The win put West Brom on par with Stoke City, but they remain at the bottom due to a poor goal difference. West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has a defensive crisis on his hands ahead of this game as Jonas Olsson, Abdoulaye Meite, Leon Barnett and Gianni Zuiverloon are all injured. His woes do not end here as James Morrison and Luke Moore are also struggling to be fit for this game with hamstring injuries.
Manchester United come into this game in first place of the Premier League table with 47 points, just ahead of 2nd place Liverpool on goal difference but with 1 match in hand.
