Celtic will be looking to go seven points clear at the top of the SPL table when they visit Rangers in their next match on Saturday.
Celtic had suffered a heavy 4-2 loss at home against Rangers early
this month but consistent performances throughout the season has seen
them open up a four point lead over their arch rivals with more than
half a season gone.
Celtic manager Gordon Strachan admitted that his side will continue
to have a great chance of claiming another league title even if they
manage to lose on Saturday. Aiden McGeady has been dropped by Strachan
and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink looks close to returning back to fitness
but is not expected to play while Stephen McManus, Paul Hartley and
Barry Robson have all recovered and are expected to play some part on
the weekend.
